Overview

A quotation, commonly referred to as a quote, is a formal document that vendors provide to their customers to propose products at a specified price. This document typically includes pertinent information such as taxes, shipping costs, discounts, and other factors that may affect the final pricing. 

All customers can request a quote or a proforma, whether you are buying for yourself, require information to raise a PO, or you are a trade customer needing the information to make a tender bid. You do not need an account to request a quote.

What is a Quote?

A quote for Sage books is an informational email. Customer Services will provide prices and availability of the titles requested. Price and availability on a quote is subject to change. You do not need an account to request a quote.

What is a Proforma?

A proforma for Sage books is an official document raised within our system. The price on the proforma will be honored for 3 months, the availability will still be subject to change. You need an account with Sage to request a Proforma. This account needs to be within our fulfilment system, an account on our website will not transfer to our fulfilment system unless a purchase has already been made.  

How can I request a Quote/Proforma?

For North, Central and South America, to request a quote for Sage books please email orders@sagepub.com

For Europe, Asia, Africa and Oceania, to request a quote for Sage books please email orders@sagepub.co.uk

1. In your email, please supply the following information:
   • Bill to name and address
   • Ship to name and address
   • Product Title, ISBN and Quantity
   • Purchase Order number (if requesting a proforma)
   • A copy of your tax exempt certificate (if applicable)
   • UK Based Shipping Company (if applicable)
   • Courier Delivery required (if applicable)
   • Promotional Code (if applicable)
2. Once we receive your request, we will process the quote and it will be emailed once it is generated. It generally takes 24 to 48 business hours to generate a quote.
