How do I know if a book is available as an Inspection Copy?

You can request inspection copies of books in both electronic and print format through the Sage website. Please note, you must be registered with Sage and have an approved profile to order inspection copies. For more information, please see Do I qualify for Inspection Copies and Instructor Resources?

How do I know if a book is available as an Inspection Copy?

• If you are based in North, Central or South America, when searching on the Sage website, the search results will show 'Review copy available' in pink text. Please note, if there is a blue banner that says 'Provided by US College', you will be taken to our US College Publishing site to order your inspection copy. 

• If you are based in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East or Oceania, when searching on the Sage website, the search results will show 'Inspection copy available' in pink text.  

• Click into the book you wish to order as an Inspection Copy.
• If you are based in North, Central or South America, when in the book record you will see a pink ‘REQUEST REVIEW ACCESS’ button on the right-hand side. 
• If you are based in North, Central or South America, you may be required to go to our US College Publishing site to order your review copy. If this is the case, you will see a blue button that say 'Go To College Site'
• If you are based in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East or Oceania, when in the book record you will see a pink ‘INSPECTION COPY’ button on the right-hand side. 
   

• Add the inspection copy to your basket by selecting the format, either print or digital, then click on this button to add the title to your cart. You will then need to check out to place your free inspection copy order.

If the book you’re interested in reviewing for adoption does not have this option, please contact your Sage consultant for support as they may still be able to provide an inspection copy to you after consultation.
